I hope you all had a good Valentine's Day. I know I did. We had the usual party at school, and passed out cards, and got candy. But this year, I wanted to do something a little different. I wanted to have a tea party.
Y'know, I call all of my friends my best friends, because we're all pretty close. We all play together, borrow each other's clothes (well, except for Danny), have sleepovers together, and pretty much look out for each other. But sometimes, I just wanna spend some time with a few of my friends, instead of the whole group. We all do this sometimes, and no one gets jealous or anything, because we all understand. It's been a a while since I spent time with Susan, Raychel and Jennifer, so I decided to invite them over at 4p.m. on Valentine's Day (that's tea time!), for a tea party.
None of us really drink tea, so my mom helped me make hot cocoa, cookies and we got some cupcakes from the bakery.
It was lotsa fun. We were pretending we were high society ladies, like in those old movies on T.V. We stuck out our pinkies when we held out teacups, tried to talk with English accents, and started every sentence with "I say...". *giggle*
Until next time, future readers,
Your friend,
Julie Newman
